The parliamentary staff embarked on the strike nationwide, over the non implementation of Consolidated Legislative Salary Structure, CONLESS, by some state governments. Chairman African Democratic Congress, ADC, Sokoto State chapter, Alhaji Bello Isiyaku-Keegan, has denied Sen. Abubakar Gada’s membership. Isiyaku-Keegan stated this while addressing newsmen on Monday in Sokoto. Operatives of the Edo State Police Command have arrested 11 suspected kidnappers in the State. A female Point of Sale operator was killed on Monday after being hit by a commercial bus near the Total filling station in the Berger area of the Federal Capital Territory.
