The Abia State Police Command says it has arrested two suspects over alleged armed robbery, cultism and vandalisation of government property. In a press release issued on Saturday by the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Maureen Chioma Chinaka, on behalf of the Commissioner of Police, Danladi Isa, the suspects were identified as Michael Kalu, 21, of Afikpo North Local Government Area of Ebonyi State, and Obinna Chimezie, 23, of Aba, Abia State. The Nigerian military has confirmed that terrorists attacked a Forward Operating Base in Magumeri Local Government Area of Borno State, but said troops repelled the attack and killed scores of the terrorists.
