The Nigerian Ports Authority, NPA, has announced that no fewer than 37 vessels laden with petroleum products, food supplies and other cargoes are scheduled to arrive at major ports in Lagos. According to the agency’s daily shipping position, the vessels are expected at Apapa Port, Lekki Deep Sea Port and Tin Can Island Port between May 11 and May 15, 2026. The NPA disclosed that 10 of the incoming ships are carrying diesel and aviation fuel, while one vessel is transporting petrol. Rangers striker Godwin Obaje has moved back to the top of the scorers’ chart in the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, DAILY POST reports. Obaje grabbed a brace in Rangers’ hard-earned 2-1 victory over Bendel Insurance at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu on Sunday. Operatives of the Akwa Ibom State Police Command have arrested two suspected vandals for allegedly looting items from a truck involved in an accident along the Calabar–Itu Highway.
