The Police Command in Akwa Ibom State said it has intercepted 415 live cartridges in a commercial vehicle along the Itu-Calabar Highway. Unidentified gunmen have attacked Okporojo community, Oso Edda, in Edda Local Government Area of Ebonyi State, killing many and kidnapping others. The assailants reportedly ambushed the community, setting houses on fire, killing people and then whisked others away. The gunmen allegedly beheaded five persons and took  their heads away.
