The National Examinations Council (NECO) has released the results of the 2025 November/December Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE). The November/December examinations are for private candidates unlike the May/June examination which is for school-based candidates. NECO Registrar, Dantani Wushishi, a professor, announced the result at the examination body’s headquarters in Minna, Niger State, on Tuesday. Mr Wushishi said a total of 96,979 candidates —comprising 51,823 males (53.43 per cent), and 45,156 females (46.56 per cent)— registered for the examination. The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority has arrested a truck driver whose vehicle collided with a commercial bus, injuring three passengers at the Mosafejo–Aradagun area of the Lagos–Badagry Expressway.
