The National Examinations Council (NECO) has released the results of the 2025 November/December Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE). The November/December examinations are for private candidates unlike the May/June examination which is for school-based candidates. NECO Registrar, Dantani Wushishi, a professor, announced the result at the examination body’s headquarters in Minna, Niger State, on Tuesday. Mr Wushishi said a total of 96,979 candidates —comprising 51,823 males (53.43 per cent), and 45,156 females (46.56 per cent)— registered for the examination. The Ebonyi State Government has secured all necessary licences to operate a state-owned airline, with the aircraft already procured and expected to commence operations upon completion of final documentation. The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority has arrested a truck driver whose vehicle collided with a commercial bus, injuring three passengers at the Mosafejo–Aradagun area of the Lagos–Badagry Expressway.
