Amnesty International has raised the alarm over a fresh wave of school abductions across Nigeria, warning that repeated attacks on students are deepening insecurity and threatening access to education. The Court of Appeal in Port Harcourt has upheld the conviction and prison sentence handed to George Turnah, a former aide to the former Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Dan Abia, over non-disclosure of assets.
