Makenzi Kern was busy celebrating her friend Jade Jones‘ upcoming wedding just days before suddenly dying on Jones’ bachelorette trip. Jones, the fiancée of Indiana Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton, tagged Kern in photos from the vacation to St. Barts, which took a tragic turn on June 8 when Kern “unexpectedly” died. She was 26. The Inspector-General of Police, Olatunji Disu, has directed the Katsina State Police Command to strengthen security around schools across the state as part of efforts to protect students, teachers and educational facilities from security threats. The Federal Government says it will establish dedicated safe spaces in all 774 Local Government Areas of the country to strengthen protection and support services for survivors of gender-based violence.
