Troops of Operation HADIN KAI have rescued 92 kidnapped victims during an operation against suspected Boko Haram/ISWAP terrorists in Borno State. The development was contained in a post shared on X on Sunday by security analyst, Zagazola Makama. According to the post, the operation was carried out on Saturday by troops of the 135 Special Forces Battalion deployed at Echo 1, Dutse Kura, along the Buratai-Kamuya road in Biu Local Government Area. The Anambra State Police Command has raided several hideouts and spots across the state, arresting 17 male suspects for alleged cult-related activities and other acts that constitute public disturbance. During the raid carried out by operatives of the Violent Crime Response Unit of the command, items such as dried leaves suspected to be Cannabis Sativa, containers of petroleum jelly, condoms, and other exhibits considered relevant to the investigation were recovered from the suspects.
