The Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project has rejected the judgment of the Federal Capital Territory High Court in Abuja ordering it to pay N100m damages to two officials of the Department of State Services over alleged defamation. Justice Yusuf Halilu on Tuesday awarded N100m damages against SERAP in the N5.5bn suit filed by DSS officials, Sarah John and Gabriel Ogundele.
