A prosecution witness, Shehu Bello, on Wednesday, told the Federal High Court in Abuja that a property in Maitama was bought for N550 million in the ongoing trial of Yahaya Bello, former Kogi State governor. Mr Bello, a real estate agent and commodity trader, testified as the 14 prosecution witness before Emeka Nwite, the trial judge. Troops of Operation Hadin Kai have killed four Boko Haram/ISWAP fighters and arrested one during an ongoing military operation in the Timbuktu Triangle. Sources told Zagazola Makama that the troops, operating under Brigade Group I (25 Brigade Guards/19 Battalion), engaged the terrorists around 1:15 pm on May 5 in the Multe area. “During the firefight, four terrorists were neutralised while one was captured alive,” the report stated.
