The Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN) has condemned the killing of several pastoralists in Ankpa Local Government Area of Kogi State, calling for justice for the victims. In a statement issued on Monday by the State Secretary of the association, Suleiman Muhammed, the group described the attack as barbaric and unacceptable. A Federal High Court sitting in Ikoyi, Lagos, has ordered the final forfeiture of an illegal mining site, trucks loaded with mineral resources, lithium stones and other assets linked to alleged illegal mining activities in Ogun State to the Federal Government.
