Teachers in some public schools in Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State on Monday staged a peaceful protest, calling on the government and security agencies to ensure the safe release of their abducted colleagues and students. The Academic Staff Union of Universities has accused the Federal Government of failing to fully implement the 2025 FG/ASUU Agreement, barely five months after both parties signed the deal aimed at restoring stability to Nigerian universities.
