The Gombe State Police Command has revealed gunmen have killed two people and kidnapped six others in Pindiga town, Akko Local Government Area of Gombe State.  The attack happened in the early hours of Sunday, December 28, 2025, at about 3:30 a.m.  Confirming the incident, the police spokesman in Gombe State, DSP Buhari Abdullahi said the armed men first entered a house along the Pindiga–Kashere Road, where they shot Yusuf Mohammed, 31, and Faiza Mohammed, 28.
