Valentina Holl and Loic Bruni were crowned world champions at the UCI Downhill World Cup in Mont-Sainte-Anne, Canada on Saturday.
A third-place finish for Specialized Gravity rider Bruni was enough to seal his third overall title, while Santa Cruz Syndicate’s Jackson Goldstone won the final race in his hometown with a time of 3:57.836.
Victory on Saturday was not enough for Goldstone to take the overall title. The 19-year-old finished second, 82 points shy of Bruni’s 1698.
