The Super Eagles called off their scheduled training session on Thursday after arriving late in Fez, Morocco, ahead of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, PUNCH Sports Extra reports.
The three-time African champions touched down in the host city on Thursday evening following a five-day training camp in Cairo, Egypt.
As a result of the delayed arrival, the planned 6pm local time training session yesterday was cancelled, with the team set to hold their first full session in Morocco on Friday (today).
Nigeria travelled to Fez three days before the start of the tournament and five days ahead of their opening Group C fixture against Tanzania.
While in Cairo, preparations were affected by the staggered arrival of players, with the camp opening on Sunday with 10 players before swelling to 28 by Wednesday.
