Nigeria’s Super Eagles will receive $5,000 each per goal at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, DAILY POST reports.
According to SCORENigeria, the incentive is part of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, plan to boost the morale of the Super Eagles at the competition.
The NFF in conjunction with the sports ministry also introduced similar gesture during the 2026 FIFA World Cup African playoffs.
Eric Chelle’s side pocketed $10,000 for the win over the the Taifa Stars of Tanzania on Tuesday.
They will hope to earn more from tonight’s clash with the Carthage Eagles of Tunisia.
The Group C encounter will kick-off at 9pm Nigeria time.
