Shooting Stars defender, Ikuowem Utin, has insisted that his team deserves the victory over Bendel Insurance.
The Oluyole Warriors beat Bendel Insurance 1-0 at the Lekan Salami Stadium in Ibadan on Sunday.
Qamar Adegoke scored the only goal of the game.
Utim insisted that the victory was a reward for their hard work.
“We needed this victory so much as the coaches and players did a lot to get the win over Bendel Insurance,”Utin told 3SCfanstv.
“The players showed a very good mentality and I believe it can help us achieve our goal for the season.”
Shooting Stars are sixth on the league table with 35 points.
