Wikki Tourists captain, Muhammed Guda, has reiterated the players’ determination to make up for the unwanted results recorded in the first round of the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL.
The Bauchi Elephants recorded five wins, eight draws and six defeats in the first round.
Guda expressed confidence in the team’s ability to bounce back and appealed to fans for patience, understanding, and continued support.
“The first round wasn’t good enough for us because of the many draws we played, but we are working hard to correct our mistakes,” Guda told the club’s media.
“With the support of our fans, we believe we can bounce back stronger.”
Wikki Tourists will begin their second round campaign with a clash against Warri Wolves at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium in Bauchi on Wednesday.
