Remo Stars head coach Suleiman Folarin, is adamant that the victory over Ikorodu City will boost his side’s confidence in the remaining matches this season.
The Sky Blue Stars edged out Ikorodu City 1-0 in a keenly contested encounter at the Remo Stars Stadium on Wednesday.
Haruna Hadi grabbed the only goal of the matchday 20 encounter.
Folarin commended his players for their determination in the game.
“It was a very good performance from the players, they gave their all throughout the game,” Folarin told the club’s media.
“It was our first game in Ikenne . it’s a good for us and the team, it will give us more confidence in subsequent games.
Remo Stars moved to 13th position on the NPFL table with 25 points from 20 matches.
