Abia Warriors technical adviser, Imama Amapakabo, says they are determined to push for a continental ticket.
The Umuahia-based club played in the CAF Confederation Cup last season.
Abia Warriors currently occupy fifth position in the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, table with 38 points.
The top two teams in the NPFL will qualify for the CAF Champions League while the second runners-up will play in the Confederation Cup next season.
”The Warriors want another taste of continental football,” Amapakabo told the club’s media.
Abia Warriors will lock horns with Rangers at the Enyimba Stadium on Sunday.
