Newly appointed Yobe Desert Stars technical adviser, Patrick Bassey, has promised to build a competitive squad that reflect the club’s pride.
Yobe Desert Stars recorded three wins and four defeats in seven matches in the first round.
Bassey has been tasked with reviving the club’s fortunes in the second stanza.
“I am honoured to join Yobe Desert Stars at this important juncture of the season,” Bassey stated after his unveiling ceremony on Tuesday.
“Our focus is clear — to build a competitive side that reflects the club’s pride, passion, and the ambition of its loyal supporters.”
Yobe Desert Stars will lock horns with Adamawa United in their next league fixture.
