FIFA announces $125m prize for Club World Cup winner

The team that wins this year’s expanded Club World Cup in the United States can earn up to $125 million in prize money.

Fédération Internationale de Football Association’s President, Gianni Infantino announced this in a statement on Wednesday.

The total prize money for the tournament, which will take place from June 14 to July 13, is $1 billion.

FIFA has now shared how the money will be divided among the 32 participating teams.
