Former Arsenal star, Paul Merson, has predicted some of the Premier League matches that will be played this weekend.
The big game will be played at Old Trafford, when Manchester United welcome Manchester City.
Incidentally, the Derby is the first game of the weekend, as it has been scheduled for Saturday’s lunchtime kick-off.
Later in the day, Arsenal travel to Nottingham Forest and Liverpool host Burnley.
Chelsea welcome Brentford in the West London Derby, while Tottenham and West Ham clash in another city derby.
Merson told UK Metro: “Manchester United vs Manchester City – Usually in derby games, form goes out of the window. It’s not the same here because quite honestly, I can’t see anything but a Manchester City win! I’d be amazed if Manchester United won. Prediction: Manchester United 1-3 Manchester City.
“Chelsea vs Brentford – Brentford are playing with unbelievable confidence, while Chelsea are a work-in-progress. I think the hosts will edge it. Prediction: Chelsea 2-1 Brentford.
“Nottingham Forest vs Arsenal – Arsenal must turn up and perform in a game they are expected to win. If their attitude isn’t right, they will be up against from the start. I expect them to take care of the result quite comfortably. Prediction: Nottingham Forest 0-2 Arsenal.”
