Two foreign clubs have reportedly threatened to terminate the contracts of Ugandan stars, Melvyn Lorenzen and Timothy Awany if they choose to represent their country at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
Lorenzen plays for Thai side Muangthong United, while Awany is on the books of Israeli outfit FC Ashdod.
According to the Cranes media officer, Paul Mukatabala, the two clubs have warned the duo that they will be sacked if they go for the AFCON.
