Nigeria’s sprint stars Favour Ashe and Iyanoluwa Bada emerged champions in the men’s and women’s 100m finals respectively on Day 2 of the MTN CHAMPS Continental Relays in Lagos, PUNCH Sports Extra reports.
Ashe, who had shown impressive form in the heats, powered to victory in 10.28s, finishing ahead of Chidera Ezeakor (10.38s) and Thankgod Igube (10.49s) to clinch the coveted men’s title at the Yabatech Sports Complex.
