Annemiek van Vleuten says she still has targets in her last year before retiring from cycling, but admits her disbelief at some of the things she has achieved in her career.
The 40-year-old is taking her leave from the sport when she is right at the top, having last year won the Tour de France Femmes, the Giro Donne and the road race at the World Championships.
That latter win in Wollongong, Australia came despite breaking her elbow just three days before in the mixed team relay.
