The results of Sunday’s 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, matches are out.
DAILY POST reports that AFCON holder Ivory Coast played a 1-1 draw with Cameroon in Group F on Sunday night, thanks to goals from Amad Diallo and Ghislain Konan (own goal).
Also in Group F, Mozambique defeated Gabon 3-2 to occupy the third position on the log with three points.
Similarly, in Group E, Algeria defeated Burkina Faso 1-0, thanks to Riyad Mahrez’s first-half penalty goal, while Sudan defeated Equatorial Guinea 1-0.
Meanwhile, more AFCON Match-day three fixtures will be played today, Monday, as South Africa will face Zimbabwe in the evening.
Also in the evening, Angola will clash with Egypt, while Zambia will tackle host nation Morocco in the night.
On Monday night, Comoros will clash with Mali at the Stade Mohammed V, Casablanca.
