Super Eagles forward, Ademola Lookman, has made history amid the ongoing AFCON tournament in Morocco.
This comes after Nigeria’s Round of 16 victory against Mozambique.
Recall that Nigeria won 4-0 against the Mambas with Lookman getting a goal and three assists.
The Atalanta star increased his tally to three goals and four assists in three matches so far, making him the player with the most goal contributions in Morocco.
According to Opta, Lookman also became the first player on record since the 2010 edition to provide multiple assists in more than one AFCON match.
The Nigerian had earlier provided two assists in Nigeria’s 3-2 win over Tunisia in the group stage.
