Hull City are in talks with the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, to delay Semi Ajayi’s release for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
Ajayi is expected to link up with the Nigerian squad in Egypt for their final preparations on December 11.
That will be a day after the Sky Bet Championship clash with Wrexham.
According to Hulldailymail, the Tigers are, however, seeking permission from the NFF to keep the centre-back until December 14.
