Nantes defender Chidozie Awaziem has expressed his willingness to play in any position for the Super Eagles, DAILY POST reports.
Awaziem is one of the most experienced defenders in the Super Eagles following the retirement of former captain William Troost-Ekong.
The 28-year-old will be playing in his fourth AFCON finals, having been part of the team at the 2019, 2021, and 2023 editions.
Awaziem won bronze with the Super Eagles in Egypt and was part of the side that finished second at the previous edition in Côte d’Ivoire.
The former Leganés player is prepared to play in any position to help Nigeria secure the title.
“If the coach wants me to be a goalkeeper, I’m ready. If he wants me to be a striker, I’m ready,” he told Elegbete TV.
