The co-chairman of the 2026 Niger Delta Games, Sir Itiako Ikpokpo has revealed that over 2800 athletes are to participate in the second edition of the Niger Delta Development Commission slated for February next year.
Ikpokpo gave the hint at a parley with the media in Lagos on Wednesday.
According to him, each of the nine states that make up the Niger Delta would be required to present 270 athletes.
