A member of the Peoples Democratic Party and the Obidient Movement, Dickson Iroegbu, has called for political action against the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, in the 2027 general elections.
Iroegbu made this call on Friday when he appeared as a guest in an interview on Arise Television’s ‘Prime Time’ monitored by DAILY POST.
He stressed that if nothing was done to end the APC in 2027, then the ruling party will end Nigeria and its people.
He was reacting to the Kano politics, accusing the APC of not having any plans for the Nigerian people.
According to him, the APC is rather poaching and gathering the elites against the Nigerian people, adding that they will be shocked because 2027 will be the Nigerian people against the elites who have impoverished them.
“Kano is my state of birth. I am relatively aware of the way the politics of Northern Nigeria is playing.
“The APC has led 50 million Nigerians into extreme poverty since they came into power. They are standing on a falling mandate.
“We need to converge, realign and indeed come together against a common enemy because like late former President Muhammadu Buhari had once said that if we don’t kill corruption, corruption we kill us.
“In the same way, if we don’t end APC in 2027, APC may end Nigeria and indeed Nigerians,” he said.
