The Minority Caucus of the Kaduna State House of Assembly has held a consultative meeting with the Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the state, Mr Edward Masha.
The meeting, which took place at the PDP Secretariat in Kaduna, was aimed at strengthening internal party collaboration and strategic direction.
Speaking during the meeting, Masha said the engagement was necessary to deepen unity within the party and align efforts between the party leadership and its lawmakers.
He said: “This consultative meeting is part of our deliberate efforts to strengthen internal cohesion, enhance strategic planning, and ensure effective synergy between the party and our legislators.”
Masha, who also chairs the PDP Chairmen Forum of the Northern States and the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, stressed that sustained dialogue remained critical to repositioning the party for future political engagements.
He said discussions focused on party unity, legislative cooperation, grassroots mobilisation, and other key issues affecting the growth of the PDP in Kaduna State.
“For the PDP to remain relevant and responsive to the aspirations of the people, there must be continuous consultation, shared vision, and collective responsibility among all stakeholders,” Masha said.
Members of the caucus, in their remarks, reaffirmed their commitment to working closely with the party leadership to uphold democratic values and effectively represent the interests of their constituents.
