Amidst controversies trailing the emergency proclamation in Rivers State, the National Democratic Coalition, NADECA, hailed the policy, insisting that the National Assembly acted in good faith with the Presidential action.
The coalition of over 100 pro-democracy groups in Africa, said without the emergency measures put in place by the president, the crisis in Rivers could have escalated beyond control, further threatening democratic stability of the country.
