The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Benue State has lost its only member in the House of Representatives, Pastor Ojotu Ojema, to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Ojema, who represents Apa/Agatu Federal Constituency and serves as Chairman of the House Committee on National Inland Waterways, announced his defection on Thursday, October 9, 2025, during a meeting with Apa/Agatu PDP executives in Obagaji, Agatu Local Government Area.
