An All Progressives Congress, APC, support group, the North-West APC Youth Frontiers, has rejected allegations of anti-party activities levelled against a member of the House of Representatives, Sani Aminu Jaji.
Jaji represents Kaura Namoda/Birnin Magaji Federal Constituency of Zamfara State on the platform of the APC.
The group, in a statement issued on Tuesday in Sokoto by its coordinator, Danladi Cikaon, described the allegations as unfounded and aimed at discrediting the lawmaker.
Cikaon said Jaji had remained loyal to the APC and played key roles in the party’s activities during the 2023 general elections in Zamfara State and at the national level.
He cited Jaji’s involvement in stakeholder engagements across the North-West and his role in party mobilisation during the last elections.
The group argued that given his political activities in his ward and constituency, linking Jaji to anti-party conduct was unjustified.
Cikaon attributed the allegations to political rivals and reaffirmed the group’s support for Jaji and the APC leadership at all levels.
