What those 36 lawmakers in Lagos State did was to embarrass Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the godfather of Lagos politics, and the president of Nigeria. For a whole month, they portrayed Lagos State as a wild part of Western Nigeria. Very bad optics. All of a sudden, the president looked as if he had lost control of his own state.
