The White House has confirmed that a Signal group chat discussing a US attack on the Houthis in Yemen, which mistakenly included The Atlantic’s editor-in-chief, Jeffrey Goldberg, “appears to be authentic.”
According to Goldberg, members of the Trump administration were coordinating highly sensitive war plans via the unsecured group chat.
