Former Kaduna Central Senator, Shehu Sani has hailed the Nigeria-US counter terrorism partnership.
In a post on his verified X handle on Saturday, Sani said Nigerians hope to see positive results from the partnership.
Recall that the National Security Adviser, NSA Nuhu Ribadu, had said that Nigeria was in active collaboration with the US to nip in the bud the wave of insecurity across the country.
The former lawmaker in the social media post welcomed the development saying, “The partnership should strategically and mercilessly locate, combat and eradicate terrorists wherever they are in all parts of the country.
“There are 3 categories of people who will not be happy with this; terrorists, those who are sympathetic to terrorists and those who have other ulterior or hidden motives other than ending terrorism in the country.”
