Russian President Vladimir Putin did not give an order to extend the Easter ceasefire amid the country’s ongoing war with Ukraine.
This was disclosed by Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov.
“Putin did not give an order to extend the Easter ceasefire,” Peskov stated, as quoted by TASS on Sunday.
On Thursday, Putin announced what he called an “Easter ceasefire” from 6 pm (Moscow time) on 19 April to midnight on 21 April.
