Senior Special Assistant to Abia State Governor on Public Communication, Mr. Dodoh Okafor has claimed that the Senator representing Abia North, Orji Uzor Kalu is banking on “external forces” to facilitate his electoral victory in 2027.
According to Okafor, the dependence on external forces stemmed from the fears that All Progressive Congress, APC, members in Abia North and other voters may not support him.
Okafor, who was reacting to Kalu’s low score of Governor Alex Otti’s performance, said that Otti is building quality projects, stronger than what Kalu delivered as Governor.
“Kalu would be disappointed by the external powers he could be banking on because this time, everyone would be fighting for their political lives.
“APC members in Abia will work fervently against Orji Kalu.
“Ultimately, any candidate endorsed by Dr Otti for any position in 2027, including the Abia North Senatorial slot, already has a 70% chance of victory”, Okafor declared.
