Senator Ned Nwoko has marked his 65th birthday with a message of gratitude to God and a renewed commitment to public service and nation-building.
In a statement on his X account on Sunday, released to commemorate the occasion, Nwoko reflected on his journey in public life and expressed appreciation for the opportunity to serve his family, Anioma, Delta State, and Nigeria through legislation, advocacy, and policy ideas focused on future generations.
He noted that the birthday was not merely a personal celebration but a moment of reflection on responsibility, stressing the need for leaders to speak out against injustice, take difficult decisions when required, and remain committed to equity and progress.
“I remain profoundly thankful for the opportunity to contribute to nation-building through legislation, advocacy, and ideas that look beyond the present and into the future we owe our children.
“I am grateful to my family for their constant support; to friends and associates for their counsel; and to the people I represent for their trust and belief.
“Your goodwill strengthens my resolve to continue serving with clarity of purpose, courage of conviction, and fidelity to the ideals we share,” he added
