Kwara State House of Assembly, on Friday, passed a sum of over N656.5b 2026 budget for the state.
The passage of the budget followed the presentation of the report on the floor of the House on Friday by the House Committee on Finance and Appropriation on the 2026 appropriation bill.
Chairman of the committee, Arinola Fatimoh Lawal, laid the report at the plenary, presided by the Speaker, Engr Yakubu Danladi Salihu.
Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq had in December 2025 tabled N646,004,816,893 as 2026 budget estimate before the House for consideration and approval.
The N656.5b 2026 budget passed by the state assembly has an increase of N10.5b.
