Jordan has imposed a ban on the activities of the Muslim Brotherhood, Interior Minister Mazen Al Faraya announced on Wednesday.
The sanction, according to Al Faraya, followed last week’s discovery that members of the organisation were planning a major attack in Jordan.
All Muslim Brotherhood offices in the kingdom have been shut down, while Jordanian media is also banned from advocating for the group.
