Several states in the United States have received automatic tax deadline extensions due to natural disasters in 2024 and 2025.
The Internal Revenue Service, IRS, began accepting tax returns on 27 January.
Although taxpayers have until 15 April 2025 to file their 2024 tax returns, automatic extensions have been granted to areas across more than nine states.
