The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has accused the Nigerian government of shamelessly exploiting the detention of its leader, Nnamdi Kanu’s detention.
IPOB made the remark while recalling how former Minister of Information, Lai Mohammed said Kanu’s appearance in court costs the Nigerian government the sum of N500 million.
Emma Powerful, the spokesman of IPOB, described such claims as an outrageous travesty.
