At least four people have been confirmed dead following a brutal attack by an armed militia in Afia, Ukum Local Government Area of Benue State.
According to intelligence sources who spoke with security analyst Zagazola Makama, a suspected Tiv militia member, locally known by the alias “Government” allegedly armed with an AK-47 rifle, launched the assault on his native village, indiscriminately shooting at residents and moving from one village to another.
