Nine people have died and about 5,000 households have been sacked by floods across 30 communities in Yobe State.
The State Emergency Management Agency, SEMA, disclosed this via its official Facebook page on Tuesday.
According to the humanitarian agency, the incidences were mostly due to heavy windstorms and rainfall recorded across affected communities in 12 local government areas of the state.
