The Forum of Heads of Media Organisations in Kano State has reaffirmed its decision to maintain the ban on live political programmes across all broadcast stations in the state.
The forum said the restriction, first announced in May 2025, remains necessary to stop the spread of false information and prevent inflammatory remarks that could threaten public peace and national unity.
