A Chief Magistrate Court sitting in Ado-Ekiti has ordered the remand of a 27-year-old woman, Ajirotutu Bosede, in prison for pouring hot oil on a man.
The prosecutor, Inspector Akinwale Oriyomi, told the court that the defendant, on October 3, at Matthew Street, Ado-Ekiti, unlawfully poured hot red oil on the body of one Emmanuel Ogunleye, inflicting grievous harm and life-threatening injuries.
